I don’t hold ‘masterclasses’.
Of course you will learn stuff about champagne, but it’s an ‘all in’ experience. The more you talk, the better!
Discussion is required, interruptions are welcome, and noise and laughter are 100% expected! Even at corporate events.

My private tastings are designed for hardworking and mortgage-bound champs-fans with kids’ school fees to pay. If a food-matched 5-course conventional champagne dinner feels out of reach, B&F events are for you. I can host them in your office or home… on your back deck or on your couch!

You won’t get complex tasting notes describing 12 different fruit and flower flavours at my tastings. Yes – I will help you recognise different flavours or styles of champagne so you can feel smug at dinner with the in-laws… but if you are new at this, I keep it simple.

Custom-made tastings for birthdays, ladies lunches, hens parties, special occasions, annual meet-ups or reunions. Or just because you deserve it… and of course you do!

Staff parties, client entertainment, office events, conference ice-breakers or after workshop wine-downs (and wine isn’t a typo!)

I can host a ‘drive-by’ tasting in an area at your conference or event, interacting with your guests as they move around the venue.

My fee is $350 + GST + cost of champagnes for groups up to 6. For larger groups, I can prepare a tailored proposal, see more below.

The fee includes

My knowledge, energy and passion hosting your tasting for up to 3 hours.
A goody bag for all guests to take home with printed tasting notes about all the champagnes we enjoyed plus additional, exclusive B&F cheat sheets, books and discount vouchers for my shop.
Glassware, table decorations, and event set up.

I LOVE hosting events for more than 6 guests but I do prepare tailored proposals for these larger events depending on your numbers. Because I want your guests to have an amazing experience, it usually takes a bit more of everything for bigger events… more glasses, more staff – and more fun!

Champagne is priced in addition to my fee.

I will work within your budget to design a champagne tasting menu that is right for your guests. And I work my connections to get you the very best deals on the champagnes!

A quick chat with me and I will be able to plan a fun and fascinating champagne adventure for your guests but to give you an idea the main options that influence the budget are:

Serving champagne as a tasting (not a full glass) – 15 tastings per bottle OR
Serving champagne as full 100ml flute pours – 7.5 glasses per bottle AND
The mix of champagnes… options for non-vintage to cuvée de prestige and everything in between.
